critique review

1. Effective ways to improve design and cinematography.

1. For our film the shots were good, possibly a little off from the original film clip but mostly well. Maybe next time we could print out the scenes so we can compare them to our version of it. Also we could take a picture from where the last shot that we film that day for when we film for multiple days.

2. Ideas for improving technical aspects such as audio recording, editing, titles, and color grading.

2. For the audio part in our film, it really could have been much better. Since we used a shotgun mic, it caused a lot of background noise that could have been prevented. We had used a zoom recorder for one of our shots, and there was little to know background audio compared to the shotgun mic. The zoom recorder would be better for audio and to prevent the excess background noise. The editing was overall good, since it was our first time using the blue background. Next time if I were to use the blue background, I might fix the lighting a bit to where it would be easier for keying the background and it would look better. The titles were also good in the editing process.

3. Ideas you gained on how to improve the performance of the action on camera in your future films.

3. Possibly add most emotion into the character, and get into character. The outfitting was really good though, very identical to the original clip. Except for adding more emotion, the performance was good.
